Time Flies
It has been a really, really long time since I posted. In fact, by reading my last post, had I ordered myself a new Journey Wheel at the time of posting, I would be enjoying now! Yikes. So much has happened in the last couple of years, family changes, staring in the face of empty nest and middle age for real, our little coffee shop group has dispersed and the coffee shop itself is no longer in business. I think that is one of the saddest things for me; our group no longer meeting up. It was a strange thing, too. There was no conscious decision to stop gathering, rather it just sort of happened. Slowly, life in our busy metro area crept in and took over. Picking knitters off as though it were casting off long and favored project. I really don't know what it is about this area, but it seems to be extremely difficult to maintain relationships; even those that aren't all that deep. Hopefully, that will soon change.
